How do I get to the hotel by public transport?
We are located on Necatibey Street 100 meters away from the Tophane tram station. Get off at Tophane, turn your face to the sea and cross until you reach the right curb side of the street. Walk to your right in the same direction the train came from and the hotel entrance will be on your right. Alternatively, Karaköy Station and the Tünel are a 10 minute walk away.
How close is Sultanahmet (old city) and Taksim?
Sultanahmet is only a 10 minute tram ride from the SuB, and Taksim is only a 10 minute walk away.
Is it safe to walk to the SuB at night?
Since we are located in one of the most up and coming areas of Istanbul, people are roaming our streets up until late at night, therefore it will be absolutely safe.
What about car parking?
The hotel does has its own parking, but spaces are limited on a first come basis. We use the public parking lot 100 meters away and will be happy to guide you. Parking is open air with services 24/7.
What time can I check in?
From 14:00 on the day of arrival. If you arrive before 14:00, then we will do our best to check you in straight away.
When do I need to check-out?
12:00 noon, although you can extend your check-out at 6 EUR per hour up until 16:00.
Can I store my luggage?
We would be pleased to store your luggage free of charge during your stay at the SuB. If you are a cruise passenger or elsewhere travelling, we will also happily store your luggage free of charge.
What different rooms does the SuB have?
There's no hierarchy here, all of our rooms are the same size and come with exactly the same benefits. They are priced the same, unless you stay single. We cannot guarantee that you will have a room on a certain floor, but please feel free to request any special wishes at the time of booking.
We have children and the website says we have to book two rooms?
The maximum number of people in a room is three, however since there will be an additional bed in the room, you need to contact us directly for arrangements after booking online.
We can also accommodate infants with baby cots sharing their parent's room. Travel cots are available free of charge from the hotel. As you make your reservation, please add a special request for the baby cot.
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Yes and we believe you will love it.
Where is breakfast served?
A healthy local breakfast is served every morning from 07:30 to 11:00 at our lobby cafe. For your comfort, you may also call the reception with your order to dine in the room.
Do I receive a discount for paying in cash?
Yes, we grant a 5% discount for all cash payments made in the following currencies: EURO, USD, GBP, TL
Do I have to pre-pay my room?
Your room will only be pre-paid, if you book at a non-refundable rate. Otherwise, payment will be due upon your arrival (preferably in cash).
When will my credit card be charged?
Payments for non-refundable bookings are processed within 48 hours of the booking being made. There will be no charges for all other bookings until your arrival at the SuB.
How can I change my booking?
Subject to availability, changes to the travel dates of a pre-paid booking can be made by submitting a request by email, plus fees that occur by any rate difference.
If you are less than one day from your arrival date you can change your booking only directly with the hotel by calling our reservations team at +90 212 2430005. The change will be subject to availability.
What is your cancellation policy?
All pre-paid bookings stated as non-refundable are not refundable. Unfortunately, in these cases cancelling a booking, not arriving for a booked stay or the hotel's denial of check-in to a person not accompanied by the person named in the booking will not result in a refund.
Reservations made with a corporate account must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card at time of booking. Once confirmed your reservation may be cancelled free of charge up to seven days prior to your arrival. After that, the cancellation policy displayed during your specific time of booking will take effect.
